On September 26, 2024, the Ocean Sustainability Club (OSC) of the Bangladesh Marine Academy organized a beach clean-up and public awareness campaign at Parki Beach Anwara, Chattogram, in observance of World Maritime Day. The initiative was part of a broader global effort to promote environmental stewardship and raise awareness about marine pollution. This event was also aligned with the United Nations’ “World Cleanup Day” held on September 20, 2024, under the theme “Make Room for Life.”
