On 31st October 2020, OSC has successfully conducted a workshop for underprivileged students of the society to educate them on how to manage waste in a sustainable way to protect our environment from plastic and other sources of pollution. Hands on trainings were given on segregation of different categories of wastes for better disposal and reuse opportunities. Later the students have expressed their commitment towards a sustainable environment through different drawings of their own.Finally , OSC handed over wastebaskets to all the pertinent to use at home and to collect plastic wastes and bring back to school for recycling. The respected teachers of Aloer Pothe school have taken the responsibility to monitor the process and further encourage the students to make it a habit for them.Thanks to Angiker Bangladesh and Aloer Pothe school for their support .
