In a proud and inspiring ceremony held ahead of the Passing Out Parade of the 59th Batch at the Bangladesh Marine Academy, Chattogram, the Ocean Sustainability Club (OSC) recognized its dedicated cadet members for their outstanding contributions to sustainability initiatives throughout the year. The recognition program, held on 6 December, celebrated the commitment, leadership, and environmental responsibility demonstrated by cadets through their active engagement in OSC activities.
Certificates of Recognition were formally awarded by Mohammed Abdul Awal, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping Bangladesh, in appreciation of the cadets’ meaningful efforts to promote ocean protection and sustainability within the Academy community. His presence added special significance to the occasion and reinforced the importance of youth leadership in shaping a responsible and forward-looking maritime sector.
In addition to receiving certificates, the cadets were honored with the prestigious “Green Skilled” Pin by the President of the Ocean Sustainability Club.
